Porta

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what information Porta collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We aim to collect only what we need to run the support service well.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details — name, email address and sign-in information.
  • Ticket content — the device, symptoms, urgency and any messages, screenshots or files you share with an attendant.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last digits of a card; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data — basic log data such as device type, browser and approximate location derived from IP, used for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use it

We use your information to match you with an attendant, deliver and improve the support service, process payments and refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, send service-related notifications, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Who can see your data

Ticket content is visible to you, the attendant assigned to your ticket, and Porta staff who need it to support or moderate the service. We share limited data with service providers such as our hosting, database, email and payment partners, who act on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep ticket history and account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes, refunds and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to customer data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sharing passwords, full card numbers or other highly sensitive credentials in a ticket thread.

7. Your choices

You can access and update your profile at any time, request a copy or deletion of your data, and opt out of non-essential emails. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand basic usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some parts of Porta may stop working.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this policy as the service changes and revise the date above. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through your ticket thread or the contact address published on our site.
